What does it mean?

We are the voice of Moab's mountain bike community.  Every month we sit down with Moab's recreation leaders, local government representatives and federal agencies to determine the direction of outdoor recreation for Moab.  Our voice advocates for access, maintenance and expansion of Moab's mountain bike singletrack.

How It Works

The MMBA represents Moab's mountain bike community on the Trail Mix Committee, a committee dedicated to preserving and developing the individual trails and pathways of Moab.  This committee is made up of local government representatives, federal agencies and recreational representatives.
The Trail Mix Committee has been instrumental in the development of every single trail we hike and bike.  Without the Trail Mix Committee, Moab wouldn't have the classic rides it's known for today.

Why is this important?

Trail Access and Expansion

Moab is a vacation destination.  Every year, millions of people visit Moab.  Thousands ride our trails.  Our community and our voice advocates for the access and consistent maintenance of Moab's singletrack.
But we can't stop there.
Moab is growing, people are visiting and our community's voice needs to be heard.  The MMBA advocates for trail access and expansion based on the community voice.

Our community drives us.  We all moved here for similar reasons.  We love the desert, we love mountain biking and we live out our passion.  We chose to be here and we have a choice to be apart of Moab's growth.
Be part of the community.  Let your voice be heard.
